A landing page has one job: to help a visitor take a single, specific action. That might be booking a call, downloading a guide or signing up for a trial. Every section should support that goal. Here is a simple structure that works for many campaigns.

1. The first screen

This is where visitors decide whether to stay. Include:

  • A clear headline that says what you offer and who it is for.
  • A short supporting line that explains the main benefit.
  • One obvious call to action button.
  • A relevant image or short visual that supports the message.

Make sure the headline matches the ad or email that brought people here. A mismatch can feel confusing.

2. The problem and the promise

Show that you understand the visitor’s situation. Then explain how your offer helps. Keep it concrete and use the language your customers use.

3. How it works

Break the process into three or four simple steps. This reduces uncertainty and makes taking action feel easier.

4. Proof and reassurance

Visitors want to know they can trust you. Use genuine proof you have permission to share, such as real customer feedback, case studies or recognisable partners. Add practical reassurance, like clear pricing, cancellation terms or what happens after they submit a form.

5. Answers to common questions

A short FAQ section handles objections before they become reasons to leave. Use questions your sales or service teams hear often.

6. A final call to action

Repeat the main action at the end, with a brief reminder of the benefit.

Keep it focused

  1. Remove navigation links that lead away from the goal where possible.
  2. Use one primary call to action throughout.
  3. Test the page on mobile before launch.

A clear structure helps visitors understand, trust and act. If you would like help planning or reviewing a landing page, the Northpeak team would be happy to talk.
